Would you like to be part of a public policy team that is driving the adoption of cloud computing across the Asia-Pacific and Japan (APJ) region? Amazon Web Services (AWS) is a leading cloud service provider, and the AWS Public Policy team is at the forefront of helping customers maximize the benefits of cloud computing and other emerging technologies like AI by removing regulatory and policy blockers to cloud and AI adoption, and shaping policy frameworks. We are looking for a talented, innovative and motivated public policy professional to lead public policy activities with key external partners across APJ.
Reporting to the Head of the Regulated Industries Policy and Regulatory Strategy team, the successful candidate will proactively create and manage responses to public policy issues, driving external engagement efforts, and ensuring alignment between business priorities and public policy goals. The successful candidate will collaborate with various business units, particularly start-up business units, and external partners to develop strategies that address policy risks to the business as well as manage advocacy initiatives, coordinating in and across APJ and global teams.
