shaping and implementing health technology policies to ensure compliance and align with strategic objectives

Role & Responsibilities
Lead the development, review and enhancement of ICT and data governance policies, standards and guidelines.
Oversee the implementation and communication of ICT and data governance policies, standards and guidelines.
Conduct reviews to assess the effectiveness of existing policies.
Engage and collaborate with relevant Divisions and key stakeholders to gather feedback on policy needs and requirements. This includes proactively seeking feedback and to make adjustments to ensure policy effectiveness.
Collaborate with Senior Leadership to ensure policies support the overall strategic goals and outcomes of public healthcare sector.
Foster collaboration to ensure policies are practical and aligned with operational needs.
Drive a culture of continuous improvement in policy development and implementation processes.
Provide secretariat support to IT and data-related meeting forums.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in public administration, political science, information technology, information systems, legal or a related field.
Proven experience in policy development, and between 5-12 years of experience.
Proven leadership and interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse stakeholders.
Ability to work within dynamic environments and be able to confidently engage and consult diverse internal and external stakeholders.
Ability to work under strict timelines.
Excellent writing skills to draft policies in a clear and succinct manner.
