Reporting to the President, the role would be developing high-impact playbooks, manuals, policies, processes, and strategic plans that drive excellence within the firm and portfolio businesses.

Description

  • Research & Insights: Perform in-depth research on market trends, industry standards, governance models, and strategic initiatives to support informed business decisions.
  • Operational Documentation: Develop structured and detailed playbooks and manuals customised for different departments within the organisation and its portfolio companies.
  • Policy & Process Optimisation: Design, refine, and implement company-wide policies, workflows, and standard operating procedures (SOPs) to enhance efficiency and governance.
  • Strategic Planning: Contribute to the formulation of business strategies and governance frameworks that drive growth, scalability, and long-term sustainability.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with various teams and senior leadership to gather insights, validate information, and create well-researched content.
  • Reporting & Presentations: Prepare impactful reports, executive summaries, and presentations to support strategic initiatives and key business decisions.
  • Ongoing Development: Monitor industry shifts, competitive landscapes, and evolving business models to continuously enhance company strategies and policies.

Profile

  • Educational Qualifications: A bachelor's degree in Business, Economics, Political Science, Public Policy, Law, or a related discipline. A master's degree is an advantage.
  • Strong Research Skills: Demonstrated ability to conduct thorough, structured research and distil complex information into meaningful insights.
  • Exceptional Writing Abilities: Proficient in crafting clear, concise, and compelling business documents, policies, and strategic reports.
  • Analytical & Strategic Thinking: Skilled in evaluating complex business issues and developing innovative yet practical solutions.
  • Business Knowledge: Deep understanding of business fundamentals, corporate governance, and strategic planning.
