Overall Summary:

Lead Flow Assurance Engineer with proven experience in the design of pipelines, utilities and offsite piping system/pipeline from conceptual stage through detailed design of medium to large size projects. Thorough knowledge of projects/process & flow assurance engineering practices, economics principles, calculation methods, international standards, codes, specifications, and procedures. Minimum 15 years’ experience in Oil & Gas, Hydrocarbons, and/or Infrastructure industries. Excellent communication skills required.

Responsibilities:

• Demonstrated experience in pipeline flow assurance and hydraulic calculations.
• Working as a pipeline simulation engineer.
• Knowledge of project engineering practices, international codes, standards, procedures, and specifications.
• Good experience in steady-state and transient hydraulic analyses using industry standard software like SPS, PIPENET and PIPESIM.
• Capability to use other Process tools like HYSYS, PVTSIM, and Multiflash.
• Review and approve process deliverables (PFDs, P&IDs, Design Basis, Process Narratives, Process Calculations, Equipment Specification documents, etc).
• Experience in performing surge analysis on liquid lines using simulation tools like SPS.
• Full capability to design surge protection systems.
• Full capability of simulating gas networks.
• Experience in single and multiphase pipelines hydraulic simulation.
• Familiarity with applicable regulations, codes and standards.
• GCC experience particularly Saudi Aramco experience preferred.
• Work independently and create a positive work environment.
• Experience with firewater demand calculations and equipment requirements, industrial drainage design and equipment, familiarity with the associated Saudi Aramco standards and NFPA requirements are desirable.
• Provide technical leadership to ensure that applicable procedures and standards (client, KBR and international) are correctly applied.
• Proficient in English, oral and written.
• Excellent technical presentation skills required.

Qualifications & Years Of Experience:

• Bachelor's degree in chemical engineering.
• 15 years’ experience in process and flow assurance.
• Candidates must hold an Engineering Degree Qualification or equivalent from a government recognized institution.
