Role Overview:

As a Civil & Structural Engineer, you will be responsible for designing and managing civil and structural engineering projects from conception to completion. You will collaborate with architects, contractors, and other stakeholders to ensure the successful execution of projects, adhering to design standards, safety regulations, and project timelines. Your expertise in civil and structural engineering, attention to detail, and strong project management skills will contribute to the success of our engineering team.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Collaborate with architects, contractors, and other professionals to develop project plans and designs based on client requirements and specifications.
2. Conduct site visits and surveys to assess project feasibility, identify potential issues, and gather relevant data.
3. Prepare detailed engineering drawings, specifications, and technical reports using computer-aided design (CAD) software.
4. Perform structural analysis and calculations to ensure the integrity and safety of designs.
5. Evaluate materials and construction methods to ensure compliance with design standards and project requirements.
6. Prepare project cost estimates, budgets, and construction schedules.
7. Oversee the construction process, monitoring progress, and ensuring compliance with design specifications, quality standards, and safety regulations.
8. Collaborate with contractors and construction teams to resolve technical issues and provide guidance during construction.
9. Conduct regular inspections and site visits to ensure adherence to design plans and quality standards.
10. Prepare and submit progress reports, project documentation, and other deliverables to clients and regulatory authorities.

Qualifications and Skills:

1. Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
2. Professional Engineer (P.E.) license is preferred.
3. Proven experience as a Civil & Structural Engineer, preferably in a consulting or construction firm.
4. Strong knowledge of civil and structural engineering principles, codes, and design standards.
5. Proficiency in computer-aided design (CAD) software and other engineering tools.
6. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
7. Strong project management and organizational abilities.
8. Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
9. Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
10. Familiarity with construction regulations and safety standards.
