The Chemical Process Engineer will be responsible for overseeing, optimizing, and controlling water and wastewater treatment processes. The role requires deep expertise in chemical treatment processes, process control, and operational efficiency to ensure compliance with regulatory standards and organizational objectives.

• Design, implement, and optimize water and wastewater treatment processes to ensure safe and efficient operations.
• Monitor chemical dosing, treatment reactions, and process parameters to achieve desired water quality outcomes.
• Troubleshoot process issues and implement corrective measures in real-time.
• Develop and maintain standard operating procedures (SOPs), process guidelines, and operational manuals.
• Conduct process simulations, feasibility studies, and chemical usage analysis to optimize performance and reduce operational costs.
• Collaborate with operations, maintenance, and quality teams to ensure seamless process execution.
• Ensure compliance with local and international water quality standards, environmental regulations, and safety protocols.
• Train and mentor junior engineers and plant staff on chemical processes and control strategies.
• Participate in audits, reporting, and continuous improvement initiatives.

• Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering, Environmental Engineering, or related field. Master’s degree preferred.
• Minimum 8–12 years of experience in water and wastewater treatment processes, with strong exposure to process control.
• Expertise in chemical dosing, water treatment chemicals, sludge handling, and wastewater treatment technologies.
• Proficiency in process simulation software, SCADA systems, and water quality analysis tools.
• In-depth knowledge of Saudi water regulations, environmental standards, and industrial safety practices.
