Job Description:

A technology leader in the process industry is currently looking to hire an innovative Chemical Engineer for its key production and development site in Al Khobar. This role offers the chance to optimize critical chemical processes within a forward-thinking and highly successful organization.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, analyze, and optimize chemical processes to enhance efficiency, quality, and safety.
• Monitor and control ongoing production operations, providing expert troubleshooting for process deviations.
• Participate in the planning, commissioning, and scale-up of new plants and process units.
• Conduct process simulations and modeling using industry-standard software.
• Ensure adherence to all company quality, safety, and environmental standards.
• Develop and maintain technical documentation, including P&IDs and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).

Candidate Profile:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Chemical Engineering, Process Engineering, or a related discipline.
• A minimum of 3 years of experience in the process industry (e.g., chemicals, petrochemicals, oil & gas).
• Strong knowledge of thermodynamics, reaction engineering, and separation processes.
• Experience with Distributed Control Systems (DCS) and process simulation software is highly advantageous.
• Excellent analytical skills and a systematic approach to solving complex problems.
• Fluent in English.
