Reporting to the Video & Motion Lead, you will be responsible to:
The Multimedia Designer will be responsible for creating engaging video content, motion graphics, and multimedia assets that enhance our brand’s visual storytelling across digital and retail platforms. This role requires strong expertise in video editing, motion graphics, and animation, as well as a deep understanding of current trends in digital media and retail branding.
Responsibilities:
- Conceptualize, design, and produce high-quality video content, motion graphics, and animations for digital marketing, social media, in-store displays, and other promotional materials.
- Collaborate with the marketing and creative teams to develop compelling visual content that aligns with brand guidelines and campaign objectives.
- Edit and refine raw footage into polished video content, incorporating music, voiceovers, graphics, and special effects.
- Develop animated assets, including logo animations, typography animations, and visual effects.
- Work closely with photographers, videographers, and content creators to produce engaging storytelling through visual media.
- Optimize multimedia content for different digital and social media platforms, ensuring consistency and quality across all channels.
- Stay up to date with industry trends, tools, and technologies to continuously improve the quality and effectiveness of multimedia content.
- Manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines and maintaining a high level of creativity and attention to detail.
Requirements:
- Candidates must possess a Bachelor’s degree in Multimedia Design, Graphic Design, Motion Graphics, Animation, or a related field.
- Proven experience (3+ years) in video production, motion graphics, and animation, preferably in a retail or digital marketing environment.
- Must be fluent in Malay & English.
- Strong portfolio showcasing video editing, motion graphics, and animation skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high creative standards.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to handle multiple projects.
- Knowledge of social media video formats, best practices, and emerging trends in multimedia content creation.
- Strong attention to detail and proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, particularly After Effects, Premiere Pro, Photoshop, and Illustrator.
- Experience with 3D animation tools (e.g., Cinema 4D, Blender) is a plus.
