Biomedical jobs in Malaysia

We are seeking an experienced Biomedical Technician to join our client team in Papua New Guinea. The role involves installing, maintaining, and repairing medical equipment, with strong preference for candidates familiar with PSA Oxygen Plants in hospitals or healthcare facilities.

You will also be responsible for conducting training, preventive maintenance, and ensuring compliance with quality and safety standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Install, test, maintain, and repair biomedical/medical equipment.
• Conduct calibrations, preventive maintenance, and safety checks.
• Provide user training and on-site technical support.
• Maintain accurate records, reports, and equipment inventory.
• Source medical equipment and spare parts when needed.
• Prepare warranty and service contracts; control expenses.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Bachelors degree in Biomedical Engineering/Technology or similar field.
• Minimum 5 years experience as a Biomedical Technician.
• Strong troubleshooting, repair, and technical skills.
• Ability to interpret schematics, wiring diagrams, and parts drawings.
• Excellent communication skills in English and Mandarin( need to liaise with China counterpart and travel to China plant)
