Responsible for water and wastewater system operation excellence, maintenance and sustaining tasks to ensure continuous & uninterrupted supply, legal compliance and cost effectiveness to support site core business.

In your new role you will:

• Ensure water and wastewater operation & maintenance meet segment/business needs and local statutory requirements.
• Cost planning, monitoring, and control for water and wastewater system pertaining to operation and maintenance activities.
• Define operation and maintenance strategy to support business operation and growth.
• Coordinate with various parties for the proper planning and execution of operation and maintenance tasks.
• Manage the contract and service providers engaged for operation and maintenance tasks for water and wastewater system, including timely vendor performance review and assessment.
• Continuously improve the operation, maintenance, and sustaining of water and wastewater system.
  
  

You are best equipped for this task if you have:

• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering (Chemical/Mechanical) or other relevant field with demonstrated capability in this field.
• 3-5 years related experience in facilities management/services/engineering.
• Familiarity with water (RO/DI) and wastewater operation & maintenance concepts & requirements for semiconductor manufacturing plants.
• Familiarity with water and wastewater design standards, codes and specifications, permitting processes and requirements.
• Understanding of the working principles of other infrastructure systems such as electrical, mechanical, cleanroom & building automation.
• Knowledge in infrastructure system Acceptance & Testing (testing & commissioning, buy-off, change management, etc.).
• Ability to demonstrate & perform risk assessment of process, equipment and new design by FMECA/FMEA.
• 8D methodology mindset covering all root cause analysis tools, 7 QC tools, and Decision Making.
• Certified Environmental Professional In The Operation Of Industrial Effluent Treatment System – CePIETSO (PCP)/ BP or Certified Environmental Professional in Sewage Treatment Plant Operation – CePSTPO is an added advantage.
