Job Description
- Improves products design, test processes and components used to meet agreed-upon product objectives.
- Work with supply chain partners to assess manufacturing cost optimization and new component technology opportunities.
- Ensure products manufacturing meet business requirements, including the product lifecycle along with execution of the discontinuation.
- Participates in new product introduction and influence the design of the product to ensure manufacturability, enabling prototype testing and reliability testing during transition into production.
- Work with CM partners for outsourced product to meet deliveries, product performance, and business objectives.
- Work with suppliers and/or material engineering on components quality, cost, and delivery of parts.
Qualifications
- Master or Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical & Electronics Engineering or related field.
- Knowledge in utilizing test measurement equipment; spectrum analyzer, oscilloscope, signal generator, network analyzer, power supply.
- Analogue and/or digital circuit design and layout using CAD.
- Experience in working with suppliers and CM.
- Experience in using quality tools; YY analysis, 8D report, Poka Yoke, Six Sigma, LEAN.
