Responsibilities

The Logistics Associate is responsible for managing product movement within the supply chain, ensuring the right products are delivered to the right place, at the right time, and cost-effectively. Key responsibilities include:

1. Physical Distribution & Inventory Management: Overseeing the movement, storage, and handling of finished goods, supplies, and services parts from manufacturing to warehouses and customers. Activities include warehousing, shipping, receiving, inventory management, and localization.
2. Logistics Network Optimization: Designing and improving logistics networks, including reverse logistics, duty reduction, cost analysis, and supply chain system enhancements.
3. Logistics Services & Management: Managing logistics service providers and third-party performance.
4. Trade Compliance & Customs: Ensuring compliance with international trade regulations, coordinating with customs officials, legal teams, and freight companies. Providing trade compliance training and overseeing duty reduction programs.
5. Process Improvement & Global Coordination: Implementing logistics strategies for transportation, trade compliance, and supply chain management. Working on defined objectives and solving logistics-related challenges.

This role may involve site-level, regional, or global responsibilities, including regulatory compliance, vendor management, and strategic logistics planning.

Qualifications

1. Bachelor’s or master’s degree or university degree or equivalent. Degree in fields such as Supply Chain/Trade/Logistics will be an added advantage.
2. No prior experience required; may have up to 1 year relevant experience for entry to this level.
3. Proficient in both spoken and written English.
4. Advanced in Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint is an advantage.
