Responsibilities
The Logistics Associate is responsible for managing product movement within the supply chain, ensuring the right products are delivered to the right place, at the right time, and cost-effectively. Key responsibilities include:
- Physical Distribution & Inventory Management: Overseeing the movement, storage, and handling of finished goods, supplies, and services parts from manufacturing to warehouses and customers. Activities include warehousing, shipping, receiving, inventory management, and localization.
- Logistics Network Optimization: Designing and improving logistics networks, including reverse logistics, duty reduction, cost analysis, and supply chain system enhancements.
- Logistics Services & Management: Managing logistics service providers and third-party performance.
- Trade Compliance & Customs: Ensuring compliance with international trade regulations, coordinating with customs officials, legal teams, and freight companies. Providing trade compliance training and overseeing duty reduction programs.
- Process Improvement & Global Coordination: Implementing logistics strategies for transportation, trade compliance, and supply chain management. Working on defined objectives and solving logistics-related challenges.
This role may involve site-level, regional, or global responsibilities, including regulatory compliance, vendor management, and strategic logistics planning.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree or university degree or equivalent. Degree in fields such as Supply Chain/Trade/Logistics will be an added advantage.
- No prior experience required; may have up to 1 year relevant experience for entry to this level.
- Proficient in both spoken and written English.
- Advanced in Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint is an advantage.
