Responsibilities

• Oversee and manage the Sales Department, responsible for Business Development and Customer Care.
• Secure new customers, service existing customers, attend to customers’ requests, and ensure customer satisfaction.
• Prepare quotations pertaining to Airfreight, Sea freight, Trucking, warehousing, etc., according to customers’ requirements.
• Requisition and negotiate rates from Airlines, Shipping Lines, co-loaders, and NVOCC.
• Send sales leads to overseas group offices and agents to generate additional businesses overseas.
• Secure routing order imports and prepare shipping instructions for all nominated inbound shipments for both air & sea.
• Meet and achieve monthly and yearly targets. Prepare Daily Sales Appointment Reports and Sales Reports, and write up profiles of every new prospective customer visiting. Submit Sales Report weekly to the Branch Manager/Marketing Director/Managing Director.
• Submit Bad Debtors Report by the end of every month to the Branch Manager.
• Close follow-up and secure debtor’s payments; submit Credit Application to the Branch Manager for each new client secured when terms are requested.
• Coordinate and provide seamless information feedback to/from our customer service and operation staff on any special arrangements requested by/offered to customers to ensure smooth and excellent service.
• Assist the Branch Manager in achieving the company goals and objectives.
