Plan, coordinate and achieve packed/shipped volume to committed goals.
Supervise and oversee budgets, plans, and programs to ensure the optimum utilization of available equipment, space, and labor force to attain plant production objectives.
Ensure achievement of management and manufacturing objectives through the proper selection, development, training, and motivation of subordinates.
Continuously plan to improve work environment, methods, effectiveness, and resource utilization and critically review and monitor operating results.
Generate record system to effectively optimize production capacity in relation to finished good inventory requirements by a proper ‘check’ system.
Ensure maintenance of product standards through effective administration of good manufacturing practices, employee awareness, training programs, and a high level of housekeeping.
Maintain production schedules/plans to ensure start time and end time and supervise the production operations in the lines.
Ensure production quality at each process and safety standards are complied with. Take fast/immediate action for deviated processes.
Direct, control and motivate production staff in all aspects affecting their work performance.
Provide timely production and other performance indices reports to the superior, as required (e.g., efficiency, wastage, quality performance).
Liase with Quality Control, Maintenance, and other departments on a need basis to ensure production goals are achieved.
Train and educate subordinates to accept new systems and to ensure new systems are implemented successfully within the given deadline.
Control and instill worker’s discipline to ensure company’s rules and regulations are complied with.
Job Requirements
Degree holder in science, food, or engineering field.
Preferably with a minimum of 1 year of experience as a production supervisor in a manufacturing environment.
