This Food and Beverage Supervisor role at Avery Healthcare in Chorleywood is a permanent position with a salary range of £12.50 to £12.75 per hour. The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting the Hospitality Manager in ensuring exceptional customer care and service, while also ensuring adherence to health and safety standards within the catering operation.

As the Food and Beverage Supervisor, your focus will be on supporting the Hospitality Manager to ensure consistent, high-quality customer service and catering operations that meet the agreed standards. You will liaise with the Hospitality Manager and Head Chef to ensure residents' nutritional and hydration needs are met, and you will create a warm, welcoming atmosphere in the dining areas. Additionally, you will be responsible for training, supervising, and appraising the catering staff.

ABOUT THE ROLE
Your focus as Food and Beverage Supervisor is to support the Hospitality Manager ensuring that customer care and service are delivered in a consistent way, and that the home operates to the agreed standard regarding the catering service, whilst also ensuring that all Health and Safety measures are in place and adhered to within their area of responsibility. Other responsibilities will include:

1. Liaising regularly with the Hospitality Manager and Head Chef to ensure all hydration and nutritional needs are always met.
2. Supporting and delivering all catering services throughout the home ensuring that resident choice, dignity, confidentiality and safety are maintained.
3. Creating a warm and welcoming atmosphere in the dining areas throughout the home that is in line with the residents' preferences.
4. Liaising with the Hospitality Manager and Head Chef to provide imaginative and interesting themes for special events.
5. Ensuring that staff are trained, supervised, and appraised accordingly.

5. Have relevant qualifications pertaining to the safe delivery of Food and Hygiene or Catering Services.

• A DBS Disclosure check, the cost of which will be met by Avery Healthcare.
• Proof of eligibility to work in the UK.

• To be successful in this role, you will need to have awareness of COSHH and CQC regulations, previous experience in team leadership in a similar role, and relevant qualifications pertaining to the safe delivery of Food and Hygiene or Catering Services. Experience in a similar setting, such as a restaurant or hotel, would be desirable.
