Job Title: Registered Manager
Location: Preston, PR2
Salary: Starting at £50,000 + bonus (negotiable based on experience)
Working Hours: 9 to 5, with on-call duties shared with the senior team
Service: Children's Home
Service Users: Young People (EBD, Mild LD on ratios of 1:1)

• Ofsted Registration: Not yet registered (to be completed as part of the role/SC1,SC2)
• Status: Planning permission approved; final fit-out of home currently undergoing

We are seeking an experienced Registered Manager to lead a new 2-bed children's home. This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in establishing and growing the service while ensuring the highest standards of care.

You should have:
Experience managing an Ofsted Registered Children's Home
A Level 5 Diploma in Leadership & Management for Residential Childcare (or willingness to complete)
Strong leadership skills and knowledge of regulatory compliance
A passion for working with young people with EBD

This is a new company built by a strong, experienced team from top-tier providers. The leadership includes:

• Operations Director with 30+ years of experience
• Responsible Individual (RI) with 6 years of experience

The company was established in August 2024 and already has another home in operation with two young people. They have ambitious plans to grow, including a second home opening in Winter 2025/26, providing opportunities for progression.

Career Progression: Potential to dual over an additional home in Winter 25/26
Qualifications & Training avialble:

• Level 5 Diploma (fully funded)
• Level 7 Leadership qualification (fully funded)
