Consulting brings together multiple teams across Transactions, Risk & Consulting, ABA, and Outsourcing to provide client-centric solutions for RSM’s current and future clients within the middle market.Our Consulting team has a major role to play in driving forward the growth of the firm with over 1,700 people delivering almost £200m revenue.

At the heart of Consulting are the six solutions we offer our clients: business transformation, deal services, finance function support, risk and governance, forensic and investigation services, and restructuring. We are looking for a Supervisor to join our accounting and financial reporting team in Preston to provide delivery and supervision of accountancy services to a range of clients, while always promoting the firm.

You’ll make an impact by:

• Planning assignments, confirming arrangements with clients and confirming costs and billing arrangements.
• Supervising junior team members, assisting with their day-to-day training and development.
• Preparing annual financial statements for a range of entity types, both in variety and size, including the preparation of financial statements for audit.
• Conducting analytical reviews incorporating variance analysis on all account’s preparations.

• ACA or ACCA qualified or part-qualified individual or someone with equivalent experience.
• Good level of experience of the application of the Solicitors Regulation Authority Accounts rules.
• Proven ability to quickly build rapport with clients and colleagues.
• Experience of statutory accounts preparation.
• Can navigate various accounting and bookkeeping packages such as CCH, Sage and Xero.
