An opportunity has arisen for a temporary Development Assistant: Visual Arts to work with East Ayrshire Leisure on the 'Before and After Coal: Images and Voices from Scottish Coal Mining Communities,’ an exhibition in the Barony Gallery within Baird Institute, Cumnock.
The exhibition is organised by National Galleries Scotland in collaboration with photographer Nicky Bird and mining communities.
The post holder will engage with public visitors and invited groups in the gallery, delivering special exhibition tours. They will also assist in planning and delivering visual arts learning and engagement activities to a broad range of groups, with a focus on community photography and documentary practices.
