We are seeking a committed and detail-oriented Finance Officer to join our finance teams across a number of welcoming and inclusive secondary schools in the Croydon area.

This is an excellent opportunity for a finance professional who is looking to develop their career within education, working in a supportive environment where staff are valued and progression is actively encouraged.

As a Finance Officer, you will play a key role in supporting the effective financial management of the school(s). You will work closely with senior leaders and finance teams to ensure accurate budgeting, reporting, and day-to-day financial operations.

Key responsibilities may include:

• Processing invoices, orders, and payments
• Assisting with budget monitoring and financial reports
• Maintaining accurate financial records and reconciliations
• Supporting audits and compliance with financial procedures
• Liaising with staff, suppliers, and external stakeholders

• Well-led, with a strong focus on professional growth

• Previous experience in a finance or accounts-based role
• Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
• Confidence using financial systems and Microsoft Excel

• Experience in a school or public sector setting is desirable, but not essential
