Make your mark for patients
We are looking for a Medical Grants Funding Lead to join us in our External Funding team, based in any of our Brussels or Braine (Belgium) or Slough (UK) offices.
About the role
The global role of the Medical Grants Funding Lead is a subject matter expert that leads the review and approval of grant funding requests. This role will manage the strategic review and approval processes relevant to the grant categorization and works externally with the requestors, and internally with varied stakeholders during the review process. This role will be required to utilize deep knowledge of regulations, codes of practice, regulatory requirements and other expertise to ensure grant funding(s) are aligned to UCB strategic priorities, to ensure scientific/medical merit and patient wellbeing and safety.
Who you’ll work with
This role includes working closely with Medical and Leadership teams to understand the relevant medical strategies and goals to lead the assessment of grant submissions (globally) for potential funding by UCB.
