Job Description
- Develop and execute a comprehensive business development strategy to establish and grow the Europe Business Unit.
- Identify and cultivate new business opportunities and strategic Retail partnerships across European markets - starting with Germany!
- Identify, engage and secure new and relevant key Distributor partnerships.
- Oversee all aspects of business operations in Europe, including logistics, supply chain management, and distribution.
- Lead the Joint business planning, negotiate cost price changes, shelf positioning, and promotional activities to build the brand within the Retailer portfolio.
- Regularly report back to the senior leadership in the UK for directional support.
- Develop and manage budgets, forecasts, and financial reports for the European business unit.
The Successful Applicant
- Demonstrable experience in a European senior business development or sales role; BDM, Sales Director or Head of Business Development within the Food or FMCG industry.
- Proven experience in developing and executing strategies to enter and grow new markets, particularly in Europe.
- Extensive knowledge of the European Retailers, in particular the German nationals. Strong understanding of regional market dynamics, consumer preferences, cultural nuances, and regulatory environments.
- Entrepreneurial mindset and passion for unlocking new opportunities leading to listings.
Additional Requirements
- Willingness to travel extensively, predominantly Germany, France, Benelux.
- Preferably bi-lingual (German or French), business level.
