Pay Rate: £25-£36 per hour (assignment rate)

Main duties of the Occupational Therapist/Speech and Language Therapist:

• Work as part of multidisciplinary and multi-agency teams to deliver highly specialist interventions according to the agreed service packages of care and pathways.
• Develop and maintain effective working relationships with parents/carers and other stakeholders, using highly developed negotiation, communication and interpersonal skills.
• Maintain, develop and promote excellence in clinical practice within the specialist area of the service, contributing to safe effective practice.

Requirements of the Occupational Therapist/Speech and Language Therapist:

• Degree or equivalent in Occupational Therapy or Speech and Language Therapy.
• Recent UK experience working as an Occupational Therapist or Speech and Language Therapist.
• Recent NHS experience.
• Registered with the HCPC.
• Must have own transport and be prepared to travel to meet service needs.
