Senior Data Engineer

Up to £65k (dependent upon experience)

Hybrid- Trowbridge (3 days a week)

A multinational food business is looking for a senior data engineer to work across multiple areas of data

THE COMPANY

The company is a multinational food business who have been established for over 30 years- delivering food both to businesses where food isn't their speciality or main focus and customers who need quick and convenient meals. They serve over 400+ customers and are therefore extremely data rich.

ROLE

In this role, you will be:

• Extracting from databases and working on cross-functional ETLs
• Working across forensic analytics, marketing campaigns and predictive analytics
• Leading internal development requirements and looking after the data infrastructure
• Understanding the data they have and analysing and understanding the in data
• Supporting with data model deployment (Databricks and Pyspark)

SKILLS & EXPERIENCE

• At least 3 years data engineering experience
• Strong SQL and experience with handling big datasets
• Ability to simplify data sources and build right data models
• Front end experience- able to structure data and understand end-to-end process
• Things that would be a huge plus: Business Analysis experience and Azure exposure
