Flexys is a rapidly growing, venture backed and highly respected enterprise SaaS software company. We provide a cloud native, debt management and collections product to large enterprise organisations across the financial services and utilities sectors.

We are now recruiting for a Technical Author for the next phase of our growth journey. As a Series A business, this is a hands-on role responsible for developing and maintaining user documentation, for internal and external use.

This is an exciting and rewarding opportunity to join a friendly, caring and highly collaborative team.

The Technical Author will:

• Write and maintain user guides, for both internal and external users
• Develop and maintain a style guide for all documentation
• Edit, standardise, and format documentation written by others

Success in the role will be measured by:

• The production of high quality user documentation in line with prescribed timings
• The development of a style guide which is clearly understood and adhered to
• All relevant documentation is managed, current, and accessible, both internally and externally

Your skills & experience include:

• Demonstrable experience of having written and managed technical documentation within a software production environment
• Good interpersonal skills, and the ability to work effectively and collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team
• Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively and constructively explain things in a way which is easily understood by others
• Strong analytical skills, with the ability to analyse requirements and translate those into supported documentation
• Excellent organisation and planning skills
• Meticulous attention to detail, accurate and thorough; delivering high quality output to tight deadlines
• A hands-on approach, eager to dive into challenges and engage with stakeholders to produce top-quality documentation
