The Structural Steel Shop Lead is responsible for directing shop work to ensure production schedules are met, quality standards are maintained, and safety protocols are followed.

Education: Training in welding, metal fabrication, or a related area.
Experience:
- Minimum 5 years of experience in steel fabrication, welding.
- Previous experience in a supervisory or foreman role.
- Proven ability to consistently meet deadlines.
- A leader that thrives in a culture of development, seeks challenges, responsibility, and strives to exceed production goals.
Technical Skills:
- Proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints, technical drawings, and specifications.
- Strong knowledge of safety standards and regulations related to fabrication work, especially OSHA standards.

- Experience effectively managing a team and overseeing shop operations.
- Ability to motivate and train team members.
- Strong decision-making and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to conduct oneself professionally and lead by example.
Communication Skills:

Schedule Requirements:
- Open shop at 5:30 am.
- 60-70 hour work week.
- Weekend work as required.
- Ability to work out of town as needed.
