A defense technology company in Hamilton, Ontario, is seeking an ILS Project Manager to oversee the development of support strategies and plans for aerospace and defense programs. The ideal candidate will have strong project management skills, extensive knowledge of logistics support, and a degree in engineering or business. This position aims to ensure compliance with contractual requirements and optimize product availability while minimizing costs. The salary range for this position is $90,000 to $140,000 CAD.

As a subsidiary of L3Harris Technologies and within the Communications & Spectrum Dominance (CSD) Segment, the WESCAM division develops the most advanced optical sensor and targeting systems for global defense and military sectors, national security, search & rescue and airborne law enforcement agencies. From long-range covert surveillance missions to search and rescue operations, our MX-series systems, and the mission systems solutions they are a part of, produce stabilized high-magnification electro-optical and infrared images from airborne, marine and ground based platforms, enabling our customers to see first and act first.
Reporting to the Wescam ILS Manager, the ILS Project Manager oversees the development of support strategies, plans and products in response to requests from aerospace and defense customers and internal product development programs. The ILS Project Manager will work with other functions within engineering, Customer Service Group, bids and proposals and Program Management and has a key project management role in creating cost effective support solutions that maximizes availability of the product whilst minimizing the logistic support footprint and cost of ownership.
Starting from the bid phase, through program execution and into the in-service phase the ILS Project Manager will assume accountability as ILS POC for Customer and internal product and system development programs, leading the activities of specialists within the ILS department.
