Position: Forklift Operator
Shift: Monday – Tuesday: 7 am to 3 pm & Saturday & Sunday: 6 am to 6 pm
Hourly Rate: $23.25
- Associate to be able to drive a straight 10t motor vehicle to deliver and/or pick up goods from designated locations on Saturday and Sunday shift.
- Full G license
- Clean record
- Permanent Resident in Canada
Duties and Responsibilities as Yard Driver tasks for Saturday & Sunday shift:
- Loads and unloads trucks, verifying the count and condition of product. Reports overages, shortages, and damages.
- Properly secures loads, ensuring loads are within local, state, and federal guidelines.
- Prepares and maintains accurate delivery and driving records.
- Inspects truck equipment and supplies such as tires, lights, brakes, fuel, oil, and water. Notifies supervision of current or anticipated repair needs.
- Delivers product on time and acts in a courteous and professional manner to develop and maintain good customer relationships. Gets appropriate signatures/sign-off on attended deliveries.
- Complies with all company policies, procedures, and guidelines.
- Performs other warehouse duties as assigned after Forklift training.
- Driving yard truck is not a full-time job - Forklift warehouse tasks would be assigned.

Role Purpose:
Responsible for operating powered equipment for the purpose of moving, locating, relocating, stacking, and counting product. Responsible for checking all inbound and outbound products. Ensures products are free of damage and infestation, product code dates are properly recorded and products match customer requirements.
Key Accountabilities:
- Load, unload, move, stock, and stage products and materials using a forklift, clamp truck, or other power equipment 80% of specified shift.
- Pull and prepare product for shipment ensuring the exact number and types of product is loaded.
- Keep appropriate records and reports for inventory accuracy.
- Comply with all OSHA and MSDS standards.
- Verify load accuracy; check the load count, stability, and product damage, report variances as necessary.
- Change equipment battery or LP tank and monitor power source as necessary.
- Maintain the facility’s equipment and materials in a neat, clean, and orderly fashion.
- Assist in physical inventories.
- Complete daily inspection of equipment.
Required Education and Experience:
- Forklift operator certificate or satisfactory completion of a forklift-training program within the first 30 days of employment.
- High School Diploma or Equivalent, preferred.
- Six months warehouse experience, preferred.
- Six months forklift operation experience.
