Forklift Driver jobs in Canada

As a Driver you will be responsible for the safe and timely delivery of material and equipment to our project sites across the lower mainland. You will also be responsible for picking up and loading extra material for return to our warehouse. At the warehouse you will assist the electricians with their pre-fabrication activities as well as keeping the warehouse organized and functional.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following :

• Deliver and pick up materials and equipment to sites around the lower mainland
• Load and unload material using pallet jacks, forklifts, and manual lifting
• Perform regular cleaning and basic maintenance of delivery vehicles
• Assist electricians with basic pre-fabrication items
• Prepare orders to go out for delivery
• Ensure organization and cleanliness of the shop on a constant basis

REQUIREMENTS

• Prior experience as a delivery driver
• Able to drive an 18ft cube van and a 12ft flat deck truck
• Familiarity with the lower mainland and surrounding area
• Physically fit and able to lift up to 50lbs
