Job Title: Senior Information Architect
Location: Toronto or Kingston, Ontario (Hybrid – 3 days onsite, 2 days remote)
Start Date: April 14, 2025
End Date: March 31, 2026
Job Description:The Client seeks a Senior Information Architect to support complex information architecture and integration initiatives across health-related IT systems and infrastructure.
Key Responsibilities:- Lead architecture assessments and provide expertise in information and integration architecture.
- Design application landscapes and integration strategies for enterprise systems.
- Participate in cross-jurisdictional architecture projects with a focus on data and process integration.
- Support business architecture alignment with application/information design.
- Provide guidance and interpretation to project teams and stakeholders.
- Ensure compliance with corporate standards, industry best practices, and policies.
Required Skills & Experience:Information & Integration Architecture:
- Proven experience designing integration strategies and application landscapes.
- Strong background in public and/or health sector IT architecture.
- Familiarity with FHIR and other healthcare data standards.
- Expertise in application lifecycle management and interoperability.
- Experience with enterprise-level reviews, assessments, and strategy development.
- Knowledge of microservices, APIs, middleware, and integration platforms.
- Ability to navigate data sensitivity and ownership in healthcare environments.
- Experience creating frameworks, models, patterns, governance documentation, and playbooks.
- Participation in highly sensitive architecture investigations.
Desirable Skills:- Experience with TOGAF, Zachman frameworks.
- Strong business process modeling capabilities.
- Cloud architecture expertise (AWS, Azure, GCP) and hybrid environments.
- Understanding of information management principles.
- Excellent communication, analysis, and decision-making skills.
