Description
We're seeking someone to join our team as a People Analytics Advisor Lead to partner with Morgan Stanley business functions to develop data-driven narratives to inform business and talent strategy via premier people insights.
In the Human Resources division, we provide advice and insight to attract, retain, reward and develop a talented global workforce, giving employees the support and tools, they need to succeed. This is a Vice President level position within the HR Workforce Insights & Transformation team, which provides clients with people analytics, data, and insights to enable more informed, strategic decisions on our talent and workforce.

What you’ll do in the role:
• Unlock immediate value through actionable insights aligned to business strategies
• Analyze data to generate insights and recommendations, clearly visualize data and insights to tell a cohesive and compelling story with it
• Present recommendations to senior internal clients and business leaders to advise and influence on human capital topics informed by data
• Monitor and contextualize talent dynamics through bite-sized data points on timely trends
• Review existing people processes to understand bottlenecks and gaps, and develop data-driven optimization strategies
• Deliver on strategic proactive work (e.g., manager effectiveness, diversity & inclusion, workforce strategy, etc.) while also responding to business demand
• Support advanced analytics and research efforts across workforce strategy, diversity, talent lifecycle, employee listening and productivity practice areas
• Influence reporting development to better service client needs and improve client self-service and automation
• Ability to work collaboratively in cross-functional teams
Qualifications
What you’ll bring to the role:
• At least 6 years' relevant experience would generally be expected to find the skills required for this role
• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Data Science, Statistics, Economics, or a related field
• Demonstrable advanced skills in presentation development (PowerPoint) and data narration / storytelling
• Ability to distill data into clear and actionable insights to drive decision making
• Demonstrable expert level in Excel or similar data analysis tools
• Strong interpersonal skills and an ability to confidently present data-centric topics to spectrums of audiences
• Experience with PowerBI a plus
