Job description

Morgan Hunt are working with a client in the Inverness area to recruit a helpdesk technician on a contract basis.

The main responsibilities of the role include:

  • Logging any ICT incidents, Problems and Changes ensuring that they are progressed in accordance with defined processes.
  • Supporting users through digital transformation processes and services.
  • Documenting knowledge articles to support the wider department.
  • 1st Line support of technologies such as AVD / VMWare / Networking / Microsoft Office.
  • Escalating complex issues to ICT Systems Engineer.
  • Ordering, asset managing, building and installing a broad range of ICT Hardware and Software.
  • Administering Office 365, Exchange and other ICT systems as required.
  • Logging support requests with 3rd party suppliers ensuring the correct details are passed to the support team, seeing updates as required.
  • Issuing and setting up of Mobile Phones.

This role would be suitable for someone who has recently graduated, or is in the early stages of their IT career.

Compensation:

  • £150 Per Day Umbrella
  • 6-9 months contract
  • 5 days on site
