Our Marketing and Communications department is looking for a media producer to join our digital engagement team. In this role, you'll be responsible for the overall development of multimedia materials and projects to support and represent WorkSafeBC's initiatives across various internal and external platforms. You'll manage the media production lifecycle, coordinating and overseeing all aspects of multiple concurrent projects.

Where you'll workAt WorkSafeBC, we offer a hybrid work model that combines working remotely and in our offices, based on the operational needs of the position.
What you'll do- Direct and oversee the production of multimedia material and projects across various channels to support WorkSafeBC initiatives for internal and external stakeholders.
- Manage all aspects of multimedia creation and production, including organizing the schedules of contractors and staff, coordinating equipment, and completing production and post-production tasks such as video editing, 3D graphics, and sound design.
- Develop and write creative briefs, content outlines, production plans, scripts, and other project documentation to support WorkSafeBC initiatives.
- Develop and manage project budgets for different media initiatives.

- Work closely with various internal and external stakeholders during all phases of production and post-production.
- Manage and prioritize multiple concurrent projects within tight deadlines.
- Communicate diplomatically both verbally and in writing with various stakeholders.
- Influence, persuade, and support senior leadership and other stakeholders with media-related decisions to provide optimal media and production solutions.
- Manage and support a high volume of contractors.
Your background and experience- Post-secondary education in Film Production or Digital Media Production.
- A minimum of six years of experience related to audio-visual production, including five years of experience in a supervisory role.
