BLU WATER DISTRICT SCHOOL BOARD INVITES APPLICATIONS FOR THE FOLLOWING TEMPORARY EDUCATIONAL ASSISTANT POSITION
An Educational Assistant is responsible to the school Principal to provide medical, physical and safety/supervision support to students with intensive special education needs in elementary and secondary schools.

Temporary Vacancy
One (1) temporary full-time (1.00 FTE) Educational Assistant required. Commencing as soon as possible and ending February 27, 2026 or earlier if incumbent returns or circumstances change.

Eligibility
To be eligible, applicants must hold a secondary school diploma plus completion of a post‑secondary education program in one of the following: Education Support Worker, Educational Assistant Certificate, Early Childhood Educator, Social Service Worker, Developmental Services Worker, Child and Youth Worker, Educational Assistant Apprenticeship Program or equivalent education and/or experience.
