Position Summary
We are seeking Machine Operators to join our growing team, specifically encapsulation and tableting! As a Machine Operator, you will work hands-on with a variety of manufacturing equipment. Our current machines include encapsulation, tableting, coating, pouching, blister, stick pack, and packaging lines. You will become an expert on your machines, running them efficiently. You will also clean and set up machines between jobs. In time, you will learn the basics of maintenance and repairs.

Shift
Monday to Friday:
- Graveyard (22:00 - 06:00); graveyard shift premium applies (+ $1.50/hr)
- AM (6:00 to 14:00)
- PM (14:00 to 22:00)

Duties and Responsibilities
Primary
- Operate manufacturing equipment.
- Ensure Manufacturing Batch Record accuracy and completeness.
- Clean equipment and room with the guidance from Machine Operator level 2.
- Transfer finishing product to the warehouse as needed.
- Assist with troubleshooting, maintenance and repair of equipment as directed.
- Follow all applicable standard operating procedures (SOPs) to maintain safety, quality and compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Participate in and provide suggestions for the development and continuous improvement of all departmental processes.
Additional
- Participate in and further the Company’s health & safety program.
- Report equipment malfunctions immediately.
- Report quality deficiencies immediately.
- Offer suggestions for process improvement.
- Other related duties.
Qualifications
Knowledge
- Fluent in verbal and written English.
- Knowledge of pharmaceutical equipment operation including bottling line, blister packaging, shrink wrapping, cartooning, encapsulation and tableting machines.
Assets
- Familiarity with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP).
Skills
- Willingness to learn.
- Basic proficiency in mathematics (adding, subtracting, multiplying & dividing).
- Basic proficiency in using computers.
- Basic proficiency in using the Microsoft Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
- Excellent attention to detail.
- Strong time management.
- Good verbal and written communication.
- Good external client service.
- Good internal client service.
- Good influencing of both colleagues and leadership.
- Good with working with people and relationship building.
Abilities
- Lift a minimum of 25 kg.

- Must wear approved non-slip safety shoes.
- Must follow appropriate gowning procedure before going into production area.
