Job summary
A leading engineering firm in Abu Dhabi is seeking an experienced draftsman to prepare detailed infrastructure shop drawings for various utilities and drainage projects. The ideal candidate must have a diploma or degree in Civil Engineering or Drafting and at least 8-10 years of relevant experience, including a minimum of 5 years in the UAE. Proficiency in AutoCAD and knowledge of construction practices are essential. The role demands excellent attention to detail and the ability to meet tight deadlines.
Qualifications
- Minimum 8-10 years of relevant drafting experience in infrastructure projects.
- Must have at least 5 years experience in the UAE/GCC country.
- Experience in shop drawing preparation and site-based drafting support.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and develop detailed infrastructure shop drawings.
- Create and update coordination drawings to resolve on-site clashes.
- Review design drawings and prepare as-built documentation.
- Ensure compliance with project specifications and local regulations.
- Coordinate closely with site engineers and project managers.
