A leading logistics and operations company based in Dubai is seeking an experienced facilities manager to establish and oversee strategy for facility management and maintenance. Responsibilities include developing asset management plans, implementing service standards, and coordinating with various teams to ensure optimal operational performance. Candidates should have proven experience in facility management, asset efficiency, and strong stakeholder collaboration skills. This role requires a commitment to high standards of hygiene, safety, and service quality.
Support in the development of an overall facility management and maintenance strategy by the Senior Manager Community Management
Define and implement an asset management strategy and individual asset management plan that embeds efficiency and drives the overall maintenance calendar and activities
Develop and implement the facilities management and maintenance plan and budget
Review and recommend enhancements to FM policies, SOPs and operational guidelines
Act as the primary point of contact for all FM operations, ensuring alignment with the organization’s operational policies.
Developer and implement integrated Hard & Soft Services strategies to ensure high quality service delivery, asset performance, and client satisfaction.
Build and maintain effective cross functional relationships with stakeholders across the organization including Project, operation, Administration and other Teams ensuring seamless coordination and alignment with strategic goals
Oversee preventive, corrective, and predictive maintenance programs for MEP systems, HVAC, civil works, and critical assets in accordance with international standards and best practice.
Define and enforce service level agreements with outsourced facilities management service providers
Oversee the deployment of resources to meet facility and maintenance requirements
Sign off on work completion reports for facilities management works, ensuring that work is completed as per the required standards
Review status reports prepared by the facilities management and maintenance team and modify schedules or plans as required
Ensure proper lifecycle management of assets, including condition, monitoring, audits and service life optimization.
Manage facility upgrades, technical fit-outs, energy optimization, initiatives and capital improvement projects in coordination with engineering and project teams
Supervise all soft services functions including housekeeping, landscaping, pet control, waste management and security services – ensuring high standard of hygiene, safety and appearance.
Oversee effective waste management practices, ensuring segregation, safe disposal and compliance with municipal and environmental guidelines
Conduct regular service quality inspections and audits for soft services; address deficiencies and drive continuous improvement.
Coordinate with vendors, contractors and internal teams to ensure SLA compliance and resolution of escalated issues.
