We have a great opportunity for an experienced Fire, Life & Safety Manager to join the team in our Engineering Department. The successful applicant will join a dynamic team of engineering professionals.

What are we looking for?

• Knowledge on Handling and Testing the Fire, Life Safety equipment including Smoke Compartmentation.
• Certified Health & Safety Officer.
• Minimum 3 years’ experience as a Fire & Life Safety Manager.
• Experience in Hospitality industry will be an added advantage.
• An Efficient person with Attention to detail.
• A warm and friendly character with Problem Solving skills.

What will you do?

• Implement and maintain Health and Safety standards and promote safety initiatives.
• Supervise all specialist contractors, testing of systems identified, in accordance with the standard monthly checklist.
• Maintain all records of testing, maintenance, and remedial work for all Life Safety equipment & system.
• Promote safety awareness for all hotel employees together with Fire, Life and Safety officer.
• Ensure training of the Emergency Response Team is to a high standard and includes hands-on use of all relevant fire-fighting equipment.
• Participate in the Training and Fire Drills conducted by Abu Dhabi Civil Defence Department.
• Carry out fire drills in accordance with the guidelines and recommend methods for improving performance & responses.
• Maintain records of all Training, Fire Drill tests, and recommendations for improvement.
• Initial detailed familiarization of fire & smoke compartmentation requirements in the hotel.
• Subsequent supervision & monitoring of any breaches in these equipment and report to relevant authority.
