We are seeking a Public Relations Manager for our RHQ office to nurture a strong industry network, increase awareness and develop an enviable corporate image by developing and executing effective communication and media relations programs.

1. Develop media relations strategy, seeking high-level placements in print, broadcast and online media
2. Develop relationships and manage cooperation with tech leaders/influencers to grow industry awareness
3. Coordinate all public relations activities, organize press conferences
4. Collaborate with social media team to engage audiences across traditional and new media
5. Manage media inquiries and interview requests
6. Create content for press releases, byline articles and keynote presentations
7. Pitch stories to the media and tech influencers
8. Prepare media kits
9. Monitor, analyze and report PR results on a weekly basis
10. Evaluate opportunities for partnerships, sponsorships and advertising on an ongoing basis
11. Formulate PR and tech influencers plans and strategies
12. Enhance the company’s voice and presence through online and offline channels
13. Manage media relations and requests
14. Plan and supervise events, fairs, conferences, etc.

• BA/MA degree in Marketing, Advertising, Communications or a related discipline

• More than 5 years working experience in public relations required

1. Strong relationships with both local and national business and industry media outlets
2. A confident communicator and presenter
3. Communication in English and Arabic (preferred) is required
4. Excellent verbal and written communication skills
5. Excellent organizational and planning skills
6. Full understanding of media needs and media relationships
7. Proactive, reliable, responsible and accurate with attention to detail
8. The ability to keep information confidential
9. Tactical understanding of all primary social media platforms
10. Ability to work in high-stress environments, often for long hours
11. A wide degree of creativity and latitude
12. Self-motivated with a positive and professional approach to management
