Client > Management Consulting Company for a project in a Petrochemical Co. The final client is one of the largest Fertilizers Producer by production capacity in the MENA Region
Main activities to be performed > The Candidate will be integrated into an extended team with the aim of optimizing overall Procurement Strategy Supplier engagement with a specific focus on costcutting.
Tasks > Overseeing Procurement strategy and operations in this role he/she acts in ensuring that the Client acquires goods and services efficiently costeffectively and in alignment with its business objectives; Develop and implement a comprehensive procurement strategy that aligns with the company’s overall goals and objectives; Identify evaluate and select suppliers that meet the company’s quality cost and delivery requirements; Identify opportunities for cost savings and efficiency improvements in procurement processes and supplier agreements; Identify and mitigate risks related to supplier performance supply chain disruptions and market volatility; Continuously evaluate and improve procurement processes to enhance efficiency reduce costs and improve quality; Lead mentor and develop the procurement team fostering a culture of continuous improvement and high performance; Develop and implement sustainable sourcing strategies that consider environmental social and ethical factors; Establish and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) for procurement activities such as cost savings supplier performance and process efficiency.
Requisites > Corporate expert in Procurement having lead Procurement Offices in large contexts; Experience in large Petrochemical needed; Deep experience in the field (ideally 25 years); Arabic Speaker preferred English also working well; Previous experience in a Consulting Firm (Strategy/Big4/Boutique) is a strong plus; interested in a very challenging context to work with.
