Product Design Engineer jobs in United Arab Emirates

This role will require reviewing order requirements identifying product configurations and options to meet customer specification and complete engineering documentation like bills of materials general arrangement drawings Schematics Wiring Diagram. This may include developing and designing custom solutions to meet customer requirements. In addition the design engineer will support customer requests for product information and help to resolve basic product issues on the shop floor or in the field as needed. Position in located in Dubai.

• Preparing Technical Documents like customer drawings standard operating procedure (SOP) Assembly procedure and installation and operation manual (IOM).
• Preparation and verification of Bill of Materials according to the specifications and project requirement.
• Interact with production planning supply chain manufacturing and project management team.
• Involve and contribute to continuous improvement program as assigned.
• Performs analysis and provides solutions to engineering problems.

• BE/Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in a manufacturing company (Experience in valve manufacturing is preferred.)
• Advanced knowledge of English language
• Knowledge of various design and FEA tools such as Solid Works ANSYS Creo (PRO-E).
• Knowledge of BOMs through ERP systems such as Oracle R12 SAP.
• Knowledge of GAD and cross section drawings.
