Job summary
A company in the UAE is seeking an experienced librarian to join their team in Musaffah. The role includes cataloging materials, developing collections, assisting patrons, and organizing events. A Bachelor's Degree in Library Science is required, along with a strong attention to detail and proficiency with library technologies. Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Library Science or related discipline.
- Previous library experience preferred but not required.

- Proficient with computers and library technologies.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills; strong interpersonal skills.
Responsibilities
- Cataloging new books and materials.
- Developing library collections.
- Assisting patrons in locating information and providing reference services.
- Assisting with research requests.
- Organizing book fairs and other events.
- Maintaining records and databases.
- Creating newsletters or brochures about library services.
- Training students on how to use library facilities.
- Handling book checkouts, returns, renewals, and fines.
