Job summary
A global inspection company is seeking a QC E I Inspector for their operations in the United Arab Emirates. The ideal candidate will have a B E Diploma in Electrical or Instrumentation Engineering and a minimum of 10 years of experience in the Oil & Gas industry. They must be familiar with project specifications, inspection techniques, and hold a valid CompEx or IECEx certification. Successful applicants will participate in quality assurance activities while ensuring compliance with safety standards and project requirements.
Qualifications
- 10+ years of experience in the Oil & Gas industry with ADNOC project approval as a plus.
- CompEx or IECEx valid certification required.
- Experience in onshore/offshore Oil & Gas projects preferred.
Responsibilities
- Inspect electrical and instrumentation installations to ensure compliance with specifications.
- Review and approve instrumentation procedures submitted by contractors.
- Conduct inspections, tests, and verifications as required.
- Monitor installation and equipment compliance.
- Identify defects and recommend corrective actions.
Skills
Education
QC E I Inspector
- Engineering Graduates PG B E Diploma in Electrical Instrumentation Engineering
- B E Diploma and in Electrical Instr Engineer with CompEX IECEX valid certificate
- Inspect electrical and instrumentation installations to ensure compliance with project specifications and standards.
- Review and approve electrical instrumentation procedures and documentation submitted by contractors.
- Conduct visual inspections functional tests loop checks and calibration verifications.
- Monitor installation cabling and equipment to ensure quality and safety compliance.
- Identify defects or nonconformities and recommend corrective actions.
- Coordinate with QA QC and project teams to resolve E Irelated quality issues.
- Ensure adherence to HSE standards during all inspection activities.
- Maintain detailed inspection records reports and documentation for audits and project requirements.
- Participate in preinstallation and precommissioning meetings and quality planning activities.
- B E Diploma in Electrical or Instrumentation Engineering CompEx or IECEx valid certification
- Minimum 10 years of experience in the Oil Gas industry ADNOC project approval is a plus
- Knowledge of E I codes standards and inspection techniques
- Experience in onshore offshore Oil Gas projects preferred
