Job summary
An educational institution located in Dubai is seeking a well-qualified IT Technician. Your responsibilities will include installing and configuring hardware and software, troubleshooting issues, and maintaining IT asset information. Candidates should possess a diploma or bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field, with 2 years of relevant experience, preferably in an educational organization. This full-time position requires excellent communication skills and attention to detail. Applications are open until 13th February 2026.
Qualifications
- 2 years experience as an IT Technician preferably from an Educational Organization.
Responsibilities
- Installing and configuring hardware and software components to ensure usability.
- Troubleshooting hardware, software, and network issues.
- Ensuring electrical safety standards are met.
- Repairing, upgrading, or replacing damaged hardware.
- Performing routine checkups and preventive maintenance.
- Keeping track of IT Asset information.
- Working closely with the Pedagogical Team and ICT officer.
- Upgrading the entire system for compatible software.
- Installing and upgrading anti-virus software.
- Testing and evaluating new software and hardware.
- Providing support to users and error reporting.
- Establishing good relationships with all departments.
- Conducting daily backup operations.
- Managing technical documentation.
