Dental Clinic in JLT, Dubai is looking for a Dental Assistant in a Full-time position.

• Supporting dental care delivery by preparing the treatment room, patient, instruments, and materials.
• Performing procedures in compliance with the Dental Practice Act.
• Preparing treatment rooms for patients by following prescribed procedures and protocols.
• Readying patients for dental treatment by welcoming, comforting, seating, and draping patients.
• Assembling instrumentation by sterilizing and delivering instruments to the treatment area, positioning instruments for dentists access, suctioning, and passing instruments.
• Providing materials by selecting, mixing, and placing materials on instruments and in the patients mouth.
• Providing diagnostic information by exposing and developing radiographic studies and pouring, trimming, and polishing study casts.
• Maintaining the patient appearance and ability to masticate by fabricating temporary restorations and cleaning and polishing removable appliances.
• Helping dentists manage dental and medical emergencies by maintaining CPR certification, emergency drug, and oxygen supply, and emergency telephone directory.
• Documenting dental care services by charting in patient records.
• Maintaining a safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations.
• Maintaining dental supplies inventory by checking stock to determine inventory level, anticipating needed supplies, placing, and expediting orders for supplies, and verifying receipt of supplies.
• Conserving dental resources by using equipment and supplies as needed to accomplish job results.
• Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
• Knowledge of practice administration or billing is desirable, but not a must.
• An additional qualification in hygiene management is desirable, but not a must.

• Registered License from Country of Origin. The desired candidate has preferably a valid DHA license or transferable equivalent.

• Bachelors Degree, Graduate of an accredited college of Science in Nursing or Doctor of Dental Medicine

• 3 or more years of experience as a dental assistant.

• Fluent in English, any additional languages (German and Arabic) are desirable.
