Dental Clinic in JLT, Dubai is looking for a Dental Assistant in a Full-time position.

Your duties as a dental assistant will include but are not limited to:
- Supporting dental care delivery by preparing the treatment room, patient, instruments, and materials.
- Performing procedures in compliance with the Dental Practice Act.
- Preparing treatment rooms for patients by following prescribed procedures and protocols.
- Readying patients for dental treatment by welcoming, comforting, seating, and draping patients.
- Assembling instrumentation by sterilizing and delivering instruments to the treatment area, positioning instruments for dentists access, suctioning, and passing instruments.
- Providing materials by selecting, mixing, and placing materials on instruments and in the patients mouth.
- Providing diagnostic information by exposing and developing radiographic studies and pouring, trimming, and polishing study casts.
- Maintaining the patient appearance and ability to masticate by fabricating temporary restorations and cleaning and polishing removable appliances.
- Helping dentists manage dental and medical emergencies by maintaining CPR certification, emergency drug, and oxygen supply, and emergency telephone directory.
- Documenting dental care services by charting in patient records.
- Maintaining a safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations.
- Maintaining dental supplies inventory by checking stock to determine inventory level, anticipating needed supplies, placing, and expediting orders for supplies, and verifying receipt of supplies.
- Conserving dental resources by using equipment and supplies as needed to accomplish job results.
- Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
- Knowledge of practice administration or billing is desirable, but not a must.
- An additional qualification in hygiene management is desirable, but not a must.
Certifications:
- Registered License from Country of Origin. The desired candidate has preferably a valid DHA license or transferable equivalent.
Education:
- Bachelors Degree, Graduate of an accredited college of Science in Nursing or Doctor of Dental Medicine
Experience:
- 3 or more years of experience as a dental assistant.
Language:
- Fluent in English, any additional languages (German and Arabic) are desirable.
