Responsible for the overall management of the facility’s front office, billing/accounting, insurance, and support services.
Outpatient services are monitored and doctors’ clinics are scheduled in a way that promotes the continuity of patient care and systematic flow of the facility’s operations.
Flow of patients’ medical records and release of medical information are monitored as per company standards.
Oversees the management of the facility’s accounting including debtors days.
Consolidates daily sales reports with analysis and ensures that senior management is informed of significant variations.
Exercises overall cost-effective budgetary control over purchases and expenditure supplies.
Liaises with insurance companies on matters related to claims, approvals, and dispatch and also conducts a periodic analysis on disallowances and resubmission.
Ensures that insurance authorizations are monitored to ensure it is done accurately and on time.
Preparation of annual revenue expenditure and capital budgets, identification of potential cost reduction areas, and implementation of the requisite measures.
Responsible for the performance management, continuous improvement, and quality management of these areas, based on organizational values.
Ensures that a service culture is actively promoted within the Medical Center.
Should ensure patient satisfaction is monitored and assessed.
Should build up a mutually beneficial relationship with relevant medical aids and suppliers.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree from an accredited program. A certificate of post-graduate diploma in management or administration field is an advantage.
Not less than 7 years working experience in a finance and/or administration function in a healthcare facility, 3 years of which should be supervisory/managerial in nature.
Knowledge of clinic management and administration.
Experience in start-up projects involving initial set-up of a clinic/medical center facility.
Familiar with various administrative competencies, quality assurance, budget management and service planning, education and training, concepts and principles of management, and writing policies/procedures.
Ability to function in a multi-disciplinary team.
Understanding of a multi-cultural environment in the Middle East.
Well-developed interpersonal skills, effective decision making, problem solving, and a calm disposition at all times.
English language proficiency is a must and Arabic language would be an advantage.
Basic knowledge of computers.
Knowledge of medical insurance protocols is a must.
Preferably residing in Abu Dhabi or willing to reside in Abu Dhabi.
