International Field Service Technician - Aviation Flight Simulator (UAE)

Our client, a Pennsylvania-based leader in designing and manufacturing cutting-edge aircrew training systems and simulators, is seeking a dynamic and skilled International Service Technician to join their international team as the U.S. liaison for their client in Abu Dhabi, UAE!
We are seeking a U.S. citizen willing to relocate and serve as the onsite American contact at the United Arab Emirates Air Force Training Center, located at the Al Dhafra Air Force Base in Abu Dhabi, UAE.

Key Responsibilities:
- Perform daily start-up inspections of all aeromedical training systems on scheduled training days to ensure operational readiness.
- Verify the functionality of all systems, including computers, networks, input/output devices, pneumatic systems, and vacuum systems, prior to the start of training activities.
- Conduct end-of-day system shutdown procedures to secure and preserve the integrity of training equipment and data.
- Remain on standby during training sessions to promptly address any technical issues that may arise, minimizing downtime and ensuring uninterrupted training.
- Perform routine maintenance on system computers, networks, input/output components, electrical sub-systems, pneumatic sub-systems, vacuum sub-systems and related equipment to ensure peak performance.
- Perform system updates and modifications as necessary. Document maintenance actions and provide the necessary reports.
- Diagnose and resolve issues related to system computers, networks, input/output systems, electrical systems, pneumatic systems, vacuum systems and related equipment.
- Collaborate with other technical teams at various remote locations if advanced support is required.
- Document maintenance actions and provide the necessary reports.
- Develop a comprehensive understanding of the general system architecture for all aeromedical training equipment on site.
- Document and update system configurations and troubleshooting procedures.
Requirements:
- 3+ years of experience in IT troubleshooting including hardware and software.
- 1+ years working with industrial machinery, robotics, or automation equipment for preventive and corrective maintenance.
- Experience with troubleshooting and repairing industrial equipment.
- Knowledge of computer hardware, networking, and software maintenance.
- Effective communication skills and the ability to work seamlessly with international teams.
- Detail-oriented with a proactive approach to ensuring system excellence.
- Passion for aviation and experience working on an Air Force or Military base is a plus.
- Must be able to relocate to the UAE 3-4 weeks after Offer.
- Must have current US Passport.
- Must be a U.S. citizen.
Salary: $100,000 - $110,000 USD annually
Location: Al Dhafra Air Force Base in Abu Dhabi, UAE.
Relocation Package: All costs related to your work visa/eligibility in the UAE, round trip ticket that can be used for a friend/family member to visit, and an initial 3-month period including rental hotel, car/transportation, and a $90 daily per diem.
Other Benefits: Health insurance, annually PTO, one round-trip airfare to the U.S. per year.
