Aviation Technician

Maintenance Operations:

Hands-on repair and maintenance of automotive & aviation refueling equipment.
Verify and carry out repairs on equipment identified in snag reports.
Support Supervisor Operations, QA, and Stores in monitoring the inventory of spare parts in Dubai Airport Stores (DAS).

Refueling Operations:

Participates in aircraft refueling operations as required.

Quality Assurance:

Gathers technical data with respect to maintenance and integrity of equipment and facilities.
Tracks the quality and integrity of equipment and facilities and carries out maintenance within industry standards.

Assists in quarterly pressure control tests on all dispensing equipment.
Assists in bi-annual meter calibration tests on all bulk delivery meters in compliance with industry standards and procedures.
Assists in performing Annual Filter Inspections.

Works within an incident-free environment by complying with a strong safety culture.
Assists in maintenance activities as per safety procedures, operational guidelines, HSE Policy and guidelines, and in compliance with all applicable local Authorities regulations to guarantee employee safety, legislative compliance, and a responsible environmental attitude.

Assists in operations ensuring proper usage of personal protective equipment (PPE) as per standard operating procedures.

Reports and Recordings:

Gathers technical data with respect to maintenance and integrity of equipment and facilities.
Documents QA/QC, Maintenance & Stores activities for audit control.

Qualifications / Requirements

Knowledge:

Knowledge of automotive, mechanical & electrical repairs.

Education:

Diploma in a technical discipline.

Experience:

A minimum of 2 years experience within a similar role.
Experience in airport operations preferred.

Competencies:

Communication skills.
IT Literate.
