The Role

Responsible for managing strategic projects, primarily in M&A, joint ventures, strategy, and business development, this role involves leading and coordinating M&A initiatives from initial proposals to integration reviews. Key responsibilities include conducting market analysis, building business cases, financial modeling, valuation, and preparing negotiations and contracts for executive management. The role also requires in-depth research on industry trends, potential partners, and competitor profiles, as well as close collaboration with business units and various functions to drive business development and operational success. Additionally, the position includes preparing regular reports for senior leadership and handling ad-hoc requests from the Managing Director. International travel may be required at short notice.

Your Profile

The ideal candidate holds a university degree in business, accounting, banking, or finance, with CFA/CPA credentials as a plus, and at least 8 years of experience in consulting, M&A, finance, or business development in Asia. You should have strong expertise in financial modeling, valuation, due diligence, M&A processes, and project management, with experience in catering, hospitality, or travel logistics being an advantage. This role requires a highly analytical professional with strong financial acumen, integrity, and a service-oriented mindset, capable of navigating complex, multi-stakeholder environments under pressure. Excellent interpersonal skills are essential for effective collaboration across diverse teams. Adaptability, tact, and sensitivity in managing relationships with internal and external stakeholders are key to success in this role.
