Job Responsibilities
Provide financial guidance in the development and execution of the Strategic Plan, Budget, and Goals Program.
Optimize cash flow through effective management of inventory, credit and collection, disbursements, and remittances. Maintain accurate cash flow forecasts for at least one year and ensure timely communication of future cash requirements to senior leadership.
Enhance cost efficiency and profitability by planning and controlling revenue, costs, payroll, and expenses.
Prepare accurate and timely financial reports, offering analysis, interpretations, and projections as needed.
Monitor capital expenditures to ensure compliance with initial justifications and approvals.
Conduct monthly audits to verify departmental adherence to required procedures.
Implement and maintain industry-accepted accounting practices and procedures.
Lead the annual budget process and ongoing Profit and Loss reviews, investigating significant variances as directed.
Maintain and reconcile all ledgers, journals, and accounting records to ensure accurate financial reporting.
Ensure the balance sheet accurately reflects assets and liabilities, with regular reviews and reconciliations.
Develop and enforce internal controls and audit procedures across departments.
Manage business licenses, leases, vendor contracts, agreements, and compliance-related matters.
Oversee accounts payable processes, ensuring timely and accurate execution.
Ensure legal and tax compliance while maintaining adequate insurance coverage, including general liability and workers' compensation.
Supervise procurement procedures, aligning with corporate and budgetary guidelines while maintaining inventory controls, purchase orders, and invoicing processes.
Job Requirements
Degree in Accounting/Finance
Minimum 10 years of relevant experience
Experience in Hotel/Hospitality/Property Development industry will have added advantage
Strong qualitative and quantitative analytical skills
