Finance Controller

ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Assist the FD in leading the finance team to provide strategic guidance and ensure financial health across the Group.

• Collaborate with the FD and management team to analyze business trends and their impact on financial goals and performance.

• Develop and implement financial strategies in alignment with the Zouk Group objectives.

• Assist the FD in leading annual business planning, budgeting, and forecasting processes for operating entities.

• Assist with cost control efforts by analyzing departmental expenses and identifying areas for cost-saving and efficiency improvements.

• Oversee monthly financial reporting for all companies from respective accountants, and ensure accuracy in reporting and taking corrective actions when necessary.

• Manage cash flow, borrowing needs, and working capital strategies.

• Identify and implement process improvements in financial operations.

• Ensure compliance with financial regulations and standards.

• Assess and mitigate financial risks through effective internal controls.

• Foster strong relationships with external stakeholders like banks, vendors, and auditors and tax agents.

• Work closely with System Support team to enhance transformation initiatives for process efficiencies.

• Provide leadership to the accounting team, ensuring professional growth and high performance.

• Daily hands-on work required.

ROLE REQUIREMENTS:

• Bachelor Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, Statistics, Economics or Engineering.

• An MBA or CPA is also highly desirable.

• At least 10 years' experience, preferably in the hospitality and/or food & beverage industries and proven leadership and management experience is essential – with examples of when they have demonstrated excellence in the workplace.

• Experience in driving efficiencies through job re-design and digital transformation will be an added advantage.

• Must possess excellent interpersonal and communication skills with the executive presence to work with senior management, investors and external stakeholders.

• Strong expertise in SFRS, internal controls and management reporting.

• Proficiency in Excel for data analysis. Experience with analytical tools (Power BI, Tableau etc) will be an advantage.

• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making capabilities.
