The Financial Controller will be responsible to oversee and manage the full spectrum of finance, accounting, tax and planning activities in the Company. The incumbent is to provide progressive and coordinated Finance and Accounting support to specified units. He / She is to develop and implement strategic Finance and Accounting initiatives and transformation projects as a FC function, for achieving company business objectives.
Job Description
Assist the Group CFO in leading the finance team to provide strategic guidance and ensure financial health across the Group.
Collaborate with CFO and management team to analyze business trends and their impact on financial goals and performance.
Develop and implement financial strategies in alignment with Group objectives.
To assist in CFO for leading annual business planning, budgeting, and forecasting processes
Assist with cost control efforts by analyzing departmental expenses and identifying areas for cost-saving and efficiency improvements.
Oversee monthly financial reporting for all companies from respective accountants, and ensure accuracy in reporting and taking corrective actions when necessary.
Manage cash flow, borrowing needs, and working capital strategies.
Identify and implement process improvements in financial operations.
Ensure compliance with financial regulations and standards.
Assess and mitigate financial risks through effective internal controls.
Foster strong relationships with external stakeholders like banks, vendors, and auditors.
Provide leadership to the accounting team, ensuring professional growth and high performance.

Job Requirements:
Master’s or bachelor’s degree in finance, Accounting, or a related field.
At least 15 years of relevant accounting experience, with a minimum of 10 years in a managerial role within the service and Trading sector.
Proven leadership and management skills with experience overseeing large finance /accounting teams.
Strong expertise in SFRS, internal controls, management reporting
Proficiency in Excel for data analysis. Experience with analytical tools (Power BI, Tableau etc) will be an advantage
Excellent communication skills, with the ability to explain financial information to non-finance stakeholders.
